  • The starting bid appears on the website and in the catalogue. It is made up of the following: starting price + material costs = starting bid.
  • The starting price is max. 200 EUR.
  • The amount of the material costs is based on a standard list. You can find this list here. If your material costs differ significantly from this, please contact us when submitting your application. ⤓ Material costs
  • The final starting bid is determined jointly by the artist and the association – this year it can be higher than 400 EUR.
  • You will receive 100% of the material costs. The remaining amount will be split equally between the artists and the academy association.

final billing – example:

Work is submitted for 350 EURO (200 EUR = starting price, 150 EUR = material costs) and auctioned for 1,000 EUR.

Sales price – material costs = sales
1,000 EUR – 150 EUR = 850 EUR (this amount is divided)

50% turnover + material costs = artist’s share
425 EUR + 150 EUR = 575 EUR for the artist
425 EUR for the Akademieverein
