Happy Egg Couple is one of the paintings from the „Contemporary Portraits“ series, which began with charcoal drawings and was later developed with paints and colours in 2019.
The series draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including everyday life, popular culture, news, fairytales, ancient statues, and mythology. Aiming to capture a moment in life, which can figuratively show a particular character’s spirit from an era and reflect on the conditions of human life.
